Ariana Grande On The Death Of Mac Miller HollywoodGossip
Ariana Grande finally talks about the death of her former Mac Miller in an emotional post on social networks that highlights the “most kind and sweet soul with demons he never deserved”.
The rapper, whose real name is Malcolm McCormick, was found dead at his home in Los Angeles last week after suffering an apparent overdose. He was 26 years old. He and Grande had collaborated together on the 2013 song The Way and left for about a year and a half until they separated in early 2018.
Ariana posted on her Instagram account a video she filmed of her then boyfriend, during a dinner party. He is all smiles.
“I’ve loved you since the day I met you, when I was nineteen, and I always will,” he wrote. “I can not believe you’re not here anymore, I really can not understand, we talk about this many times, I’m so angry, I’m so sad I do not know what to do, you were my dearest friend, for so long, above all I’m so sorry I could not fix it or take away your pain, I really wanted to do it: The kindest and sweetest soul with demons I did not deserve, I hope you’re okay now.
Grande had given signals a day after Mac’s death with a picture of him, without any message.
Shane Powers, a close friend of Miller, recently said that Grande was “an incredibly stabilizing force” in the life of the rapper.
“There could not be anyone else to support him being sober than Ariana,” he said. “This little girl was incredibly involved and useful to him who was healthy.”
