I see a lot of 1 stars and I’m kind of confused. There are only 2 episodes of this show, and I think it’s off to a good start. Sure it’s first two episodes were decent, but it’s very hard to judge a show off of its first season. If you remember Disenchantment, it’s first 4-5 episodes were really not very good.
Regardless of that, I think basing this off of other pilots, this show can either find its rhythm or fail. Now, based off of that, I believe that this show is pretty good. It contains a lot of things that someone that is the age of the characters can relate. It’s a feel-good (kind of), relatable and sometimes comedic animated show.
On the opposite side, this show can be (as much as I hate saying this word) cringe-worthy. There are a lot of jokes that really make me just kinda want to turn it off, but that’s not that often.
All I’m trying to say is, I think this show has potential, however, it’ll need a lot more work in order to appeal to everyone (most audiences and all of the people who gave this 1 star. Overall, 6/10.
