Into the Night definitely has some of the better sci-fi storytelling I’ve seen from a show in a long time. While the show definitely is a little shaky on the science part of sci-fi, it does do a decent job of hooking the viewers in with fully fleshing out the characters involved.
I also enjoyed the multi-lingual approach that the movie uses for different interactions with the characters as it makes sense for the passengers on an international plane to switch back and forth between their mother tongue, French, English, etc. I found that realism to be particularly refreshing.
The characters themselves behaved very realistically as well. Some might find their actions to be questionable at times, but to those I would say take a look at the actions of many during this current pandemic we are dealing with. Some people are emotional, irrational, selfish, angry, etc. while others are dependable, level-headed, ethical. This can also change on a dime depending on the level of pressure each character is under.
Very captivating story-telling, tons of thrilling moments, and engaging characters are definitely enough to recommend this one!
