The Archies 2023 Movie Review

After being smitten over by Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal, the entertainment industry is now gearing up for another major release which will mark the entry of three much talked about star kids. We are talking about Zoya Akhtar’s upcoming directorial The Archies starring Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan, Boney Kapoor & Sridevi’s daughter Khushi Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan’s grand son Agastya Nanda in the lead.

The movie happens to be the remake of the popular The Archies comics and this Zoya Akhtar directorial has been one of the most anticipated releases of the year. And while the musical comedy is set to release on Netflix on December 7, the makers recently hosted a grand screening of the film which was attended by the big shots from the industry.

As everyone is eagerly waiting for the release of The Archies, the first review of the movie is out which has been shared by Boney Kapoor’s daughter Anshula Kapoor. Taking to her Instagram story, Anushla shared, “Just the sweetest 2 hour fun ride this one is! @zoieakhtar has created the most picturesque Riverdale & I want to pack my bags and go live in her beautiful world, hang out with the gang and eat all that yummy food Jughead’s always getting his hands on! You’re gonna laugh, you’re gonna wanna dance and your gonna feel the feels and get a bit choked up. The entire cast is freaking phenomenal! But the 7 of the gang are what make the film so so special and endearing! The film just made my heart so happy! You gotta watch it if you want to end your night with a giant smile on your face! @thearchiesonnetflix”.

Meanwhile, Khushi opened up about her experience of working with Suhana, Agastya, Vedang Raina, Mihir Ahuja, Yuvraj Menda and Aditi Dot in an interview and said, “We were forced to spend so much time together, and just going through the same experience made us bond so much. I think doing acting workshops together made us open up and be vulnerable with each other. I think towards the end of the shoot we were just kind of moving in a small herd everywhere together”.
