Until Life Do Us Part Review 2022 Tv Show Series Season Cast Crew Online
Netflix’s ‘Until Life Do Us Part’ is a must-watch, feel-good family drama. With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, the lineup for the week leading up to the special day seems befitting in every aspect.
The series includes three generations of the Portuguese Paixo family living under one roof. This big family will most definitely keep you entertained as they juggle their wedding planning family business, their personal lives, and navigate opposing ideas. If you haven’t already noticed, the title of the series is a unique wordplay on the famous phrase, “until death do us part”.
The official synopsis reads: “Paixo’s family has a farm that caters to wedding groups, but business is slow. While the love between the parents, Vanessa and Daniel, looks over, the grandparents, Luisa and Joaquim, appear to be inseparable. The children, Rita and Marco, have quite different perspectives on love.”
The 8 part series alludes to humor from time to time, almost effortlessly. For instance, Vanessa (played by Rita Loureiro) is going through menopause, and because of her severe hormonal imbalance, she tends to find every other man insanely attractive. Daniel (Dinarte Branco), on the other hand, plays the role of an ever-supportive father, who still believes in reviving his marriage to Vanessa. While shifting his focus from the business to his personal life, Daniel also secretly yearns for the evergreen love his parents have for one another.
The Paixo family runs a wedding-planning business, and they never seem to run short of new problems. Ironically, Vanessa and Daniel haven’t had a happy marriage for the longest time and are even considering divorce. Having said that, it tugs at your heartstrings watching the estranged couple work hard to plan memorable weddings for their clients.
Unfortunately, their business is in deep waters; one that never ceases to provide obstacles time and again. One remarkable observation is how every member of the family attempts several different approaches in balancing responsibilities.
What makes this series stand out is how the family wades through tough water as one unit, all whilst constantly making light of the situation. That one quality, in particular, is really rare to find in today’s day and age, and really speaks volumes on family ethics and upbringing.
All in all, ‘Until Life Do Us Part’ is beautifully raw, emotional, and very wholesome
Until Life Do Us Part’ was released on February 10, 2022, on Netflix.
